為協助同學測試英語能力，本校教務處雙語教育中心將辦理由教育部補助之「培力英檢」，並自即日起開放報名‼️
 

📌 資訊如下⬇️：

報名資格：本校雙語計畫參與學院（管理學院、織品學院、文學院、傳播學院、社會科學院、教育與運動健康學院、民生學院、國際暨永續學院）之學生優先報名，若尚有名額將依序遞補給其他學院報名之學生（含外籍生）。

報名時間：即日起至 9/16 或額滿

考試時間：說寫測驗：10/17（六）、聽讀測驗：11/21（六）

測驗費用：免費報名

名額有限：額滿即截止，請及早完成報名❗若無特別通知，皆算報名成功，敬請準時出席❗

校內現行培力英檢鼓勵措施如下⬇️：

♦️ 學業獎勵🎉：

報考培力英檢並且「聽說讀寫」任兩項成績達 CEFR B2 者，全人中心必修大一英文、大二英文學期成績外加 3 分。

報考培力英檢並且出席考試者，參加聽讀或說寫測驗可各獲自學點數 2 點。

♦️ 獎勵金獎勵🎉：

「聽說讀寫」任兩項成績達 CEFR B2 者，可申請輔大【雙語國際推動辦公室】「學生英文檢測獎勵」新台幣 1,000 元。
獎勵金之申請，將依本計畫經費編列與實際執行情形辦理。

Dear Faculty Members and Students,

To help students assess their English proficiency, the Bilingual Education Center of the Office of Academic Affairs will be administering the BESTEP (Bilingual Education for Students of Taiwan) English Proficiency Test, subsidized by the Ministry of Education. Registration is now open‼️

📌 Details are as follows:

Eligibility:
Priority will be given to students from the colleges participating in the university’s Bilingual Education Program, including the College of Management, College of Textiles and Clothing, College of Foreign Languages, College of Communication, College of Social Sciences, College of Education and Sports Health, College of Human Ecology, and College of International Education and Sustainability. If spaces remain, students from other colleges, including international students, will be admitted in order of registration.

Registration Period:
From now until September 16, or until all spots are filled.

Test Dates:

Speaking & Writing: October 17 (Saturday)

Listening & Reading: November 21 (Saturday)

Test Fee: Free

Limited Spots:
Registration will close once all available spots are filled, so please register as early as possible❗ Unless otherwise notified, your registration will be considered successful. Please make sure to attend the test on time❗

Current BESTEP Incentives at Fu Jen Catholic University

♦️ Academic Incentives 🎉

• Students who take the BESTEP and achieve CEFR B2 or above in any two of the four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) will receive an additional 3 points added to their semester grades for the required Freshman English and Sophomore English courses offered by the Holistic Education Center.
• Students who register for the BESTEP and attend the test will receive 2 self-learning points for each of the Listening & Reading and Speaking & Writing tests they take.

♦️ Financial Incentive 🎉

• Students who achieve CEFR B2 or above in any two of the four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) may apply for the NT$1,000 Student English Proficiency Test Incentive offered by Fu Jen’s Bilingual and Internationalization Promotion Office.
• Applications for the incentive will be processed according to the project’s available funding and actual implementation.

Students in the College of Management:

Please note that incentives from individual colleges cannot be claimed in addition to university-level incentives.
